What a chatbot actually does in a company
On a website a chatbot can answer FAQs, guide visitors to the right package or the contact form and collect a short brief before your team joins a call. Internally the same pattern can serve employees for procedures and internal rules, with stricter access to documents.
“24/7 support” in the title refers to automated answers being available whenever the bot is live on the site. Human replies still happen during your working hours unless we agree an on-call process. We do not promise to replace an entire support team.
Multilingual replies (for example Bosnian, English, German) are added only when content for those languages exists and is part of the project — the same approach as our own multilingual site. We do not claim in advance that every bot speaks every language without a prepared knowledge base.
A good bot reduces noise in the inbox: opening hours, address, a link to the price list, a “we received your enquiry” status. A bad bot invents prices or terms, which is why prices and legal statements are tied only to approved pages. If a package price changes, you update the source, not a prompt written from memory.
For companies just opening a digital channel, the chatbot should never be the only contact: a phone number, an email address or a form always stays visible. That respects users who do not want to chat and keeps the page accessible. In analytics we also watch how often people abandon the widget — a sign that the bot is too long or unclear. Iteration is expected, not a sign of failure.
How we avoid bad bots
A bot without sources soon starts making things up. That is why we prefer RAG: answers rely on approved documents and pages. Where no reliable source exists, the bot offers a contact or a ticket instead of guessing. Logs and basic analytics show which questions remain unanswered — direct input for extending the knowledge base.
The integration can live on a Next.js site that we build, or as a layer on your existing web presence. Connecting to a CRM or helpdesk is agreed within the broader AI implementation scope.
We add clear escalation phrases, a limit on retries and a “leave your phone number” option. On mobile the bot must never cover the contact button. Accessibility and contrast stay part of the web standard even when the widget is decoratively animated.
Example uses
A service company: the bot answers questions about location, appointments and the documents needed to apply. A web shop: questions about delivery, returns and availability, with a link to the product. B2B software: the bot explains modules and sends the visitor to a demo form. A hotel or another vertical: a public FAQ on the website, while the operational system stays separate.
The chatbot page is tightly focused; the wider AI work — OCR, automation, private LLM — is covered on the AI implementation page.
An educational or B2B site: the bot guides visitors to the right case study. A shop: the bot does not confirm stock levels without a live source and offers a form instead. An internal IT knowledge base: the bot answers staff from a Confluence or PDF export, with single sign-on considered in the broader AI project.
How the rollout works
We gather the frequent questions and their sources, prepare the knowledge base, build a prototype on a staging site, adjust tone and escalation, then go to production. The measure of success is agreed up front — for example the share of questions solved without the form, or a shorter time to a qualified lead.
If you are still building the site, the chatbot can be planned within the same project as the web package. If the site already exists, we start with an integration assessment.
In the first iteration we deliberately cover the 20–40 most common questions rather than “the whole company”. Expansion follows when analytics show the gaps, which keeps cost and quality under control. For web plus chatbot, reserve time for content: a bot is only as good as your pages and documents.
An AI chatbot for companies in BiH usually sits on a marketing site or a help layer, not as a substitute for contractual obligations. Where there is legal risk we add disclaimers such as “check with the team before deciding”. The bot can work alongside the forms you already have — it does not have to solve everything inside the chat. We ask for an owner of the FAQ content, because outdated answers destroy trust quickly. With several brands we keep separate knowledge bases; with seasonal campaigns we plan temporary intents with an expiry date. Finally, the chatbot is part of the wider AI implementation: the same team can later add RAG document search or OCR, but the first release stays thin and measurable. Send us a list of your questions — it is the best way into an assessment.
FAQ — chatbot
Can a chatbot replace support?
Not fully. Best as a first layer for FAQs with human handoff.
Multiple languages?
Yes if we prepare content and agree languages in the project.
Where are conversations stored?
Storage and retention are defined per project; stricter/private options when needed.
How much does a chatbot cost?
Scoped after a brief — not part of fixed Business Start website pricing.
Want an AI chatbot on your site or internally?
Send sample questions and documents the bot may use. We’ll propose approach and escalation.
